Harry Potter Cupcakes

Happy Potter Day!! Since today is the day the last movie hits theaters, we had to make some special cupcakes!  I am a little late getting on the Harry potter bus.  I have read the first 3 books {I just started them last Sunday} and I haven't seen any of the movies. I love the books and wish I had seen the movies because I really want to see Deathly Hallows Pt 2 in theaters. Oh well though. 

Our menu today is:

 Hufflepuff, Clouds with yellow frosting and a chocolate H

 Gryffindor, PB Dream decorated as a lion

 Snitch, Cherry von Chocolate with a yellow covered cherry on top

 Ravenclaw,  Purple Velvet

 Lightning Bolt,  Double Chocolate with a chocolate lightning bolt

 Slytherin, Chocolate cake and frosting with a green snake-y S on top

 Hedwig, Cookies N Cream decorated as an owl face

 Firebolt, The Firecracker with a fruity broom on top

 Butter Beer, Cream Soda and Butterscotch cake and frosting with a butterscotch drizzle

 Botts Everything Beans.  Cosmo with jelly beans on top

True Blood Cupcakes

Here are some cupcakes we made for the Season 4 premier of True Blood.

Sweet and Salty: Sweaty Alcide!  Peanut butter and white chocolate cake with white chocolate chips and pretzel piece then frosted with white chocolate frosting and peanut butter "fur."  Then topped with a chocolate WERE topper.

True Blood cupcakes: Vanilla Bean cake with a bloody berry filling.   Then frosted with vanilla bean frosting and a chocolate TRUE BLOOD topper.

No frosting shots today!  How about some Tru Blood instead? A fresh strawberry and raspberry sauce shooter.

Nautical Party

We had a special order today and she wanted something nautical.  Here's what I came up with: Chocolate Anchors on Strawberry White Chip cakes.

Purple Ribbons

We had a special order today for the Washington County 911 Cancer Survivor Fund Raiser.  So we made clouds with purple ribbons on top.

Life's a Beach

We had a special order for some cupcakes and she wanted them to be "beachy" Maybe some seashells and blue frosting.  So this is what I came up with!

Are you ready for some football??

Cupcakes that is.  As the playoffs wind down, we are getting closer to the Super Bowl.  Since I was born on Super Bowl Sunday, I love to watch the game and throw a big party!! These football cupcakes wold look great at your Super Bowl Party!!  We are taking pre-orders for them. And as soon as the teams are official, I will make some team cupcakes too.
